Asian Fertility Awareness Event – Saturday 18th November

Suzi Mann
Broadcaster and co-producer of BBC documentary, 'Passing the baby'

Thames Valley Fertility will be hosting a free Fertility Network UK event at the clinic on Saturday 18 November to highlight and discuss fertility issues faced by Asian couples.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), early onset menopause and a chronic shortage of donor eggs are all issues Asian couples are far more likely to face than others yet most people are unaware.

Suzi Mann (broadcaster and presenter of BBC documentary, ‘Passing the Baby’) and Fatima Husain (Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist), will be sharing the facts, the signs to look out for and what can be done to tackle infertility problems.

Fertility Network UK is the national charity for anyone who has ever experienced fertility problems. Its Asian Fertility Group helps Asian men and women to meet over Facebook in a closed group and events such as this, to share experience, advice and understanding.

The free event will take place at Thames Valley Fertility from 2pm-4pm and is open to anyone who wants to understand more about fertility in the Asian community – either to help better prepare themselves to spot issues in the future or because they are currently experiencing problems.
